We enjoyed watching our Leptotes Bicolor develop a dozen buds last month, after only having seen it bloom once before and with just a few flowers. The blooms have a delicate look to them and are turned every which way so that getting a good photograph of more than one at a time was tough. In contrast, our Coelogyne Mooreana Brockhurst snuck up on us. It quietly produced one bloom after not having bloomed at all in a couple of years, despite lots of new pseudobulb growth. The flower is a little crowded by the upper leaf.
The Ascocentrum Christensonianum and Encyclia Lancifolia are more reliable annual bloomers.
